What is our returns policy?
If you are not satisfied with your purchase and wish to return an item, please notify us within 14 days from the date you received your order by using our website chat or emailing us at rathfarnhampharmacy@gmail.com.
Any returned goods must be in a re-saleable condition: unused/unworn, sealed, in the original packaging with original labels attached. For health protection and hygiene reasons we cannot offer refunds, replacements or exchanges on certain medical or personal-care items, baby formula products, or any product with a hygiene seal that has been broken, unless the item is being returned because it is damaged or faulty.
How do I return or exchange unwanted items?
Please inform us of your intent to return the unwanted product so we can handle the matter quickly and efficiently. When you contact us, provide the following information:
- Your order reference number
- Your telephone and contact details

The cost of returning unwanted items is at your expense. We do not offer a collection service, so please use your own carrier. We recommend using a carrier that provides a Proof of Posting, because until the parcel is received by us it remains your responsibility.
Can I return an item to a Rathfarnham Pharmacy?
You may return your order to our pharmacy for an exchange or refund. First, follow the steps under “How do I return or exchange unwanted items” above. When you arrive in store, please show our sales team your order confirmation email as proof of purchase.
Refunds: Our policy is to refund the original form of payment. The store will not refund cash at the counter; we will refund to the credit card used for the website payment. Please allow a few working days for the refund to be processed.
My item was a gift and I don’t have the order number — what should I do?
If you received an online product as a gift and wish to return or exchange it, please contact us in advance at rathfarnhampharmacy@gmail.com. We will do our best to resolve the issue quickly and efficiently.
How do I return a faulty item / order?
If you believe a product purchased from www.thepharmacyshop.ie is faulty, contact us immediately before returning the item. Email us at rathfarnhampharmacy@gmail.com with details of the fault.
When will I receive my refund?
If you cancel your order within 14 days of receipt and we receive the returned item within 14 days of your cancellation notice, we will issue a refund provided the product is unopened, unused and in its original packaging. Please allow up to 10 working days from the date we receive your return for the refund to appear on your account. Refunds will be made using the same method as the original payment (for example, a credit card payment will be refunded back to the same card).
